
Ben Briggs is a writer living in San Francisco and a graduate of the University of San Francisco’s MFA program. He works for The Gap Inc. supporting their Franchise and Wholesale markets.
His writing has appeared in The Wisconsin Review, Louisiana Literature, The San Antonio Review, The Account: A Journal of Prose, Poetry and Thought, and Short Edition. His short story “Two More” was named a finalist in SF BART’s inaugural short story contest. He was nominated for the Pushcart Prize in 2022 and Best of Net in 2023. He previously served as Editor-in-chief of Invisible City the literary journal managed by the MFA department at the University of San Francisco.
When he’s not writing, he likes to explore the parks of San Francisco with his golden retriever and his wife. He wishes humans were more like trees.
